The cathedral of Milan , the symbol of Milan, is dedicated to Santa Maria Rising and is located in the square in the center of the metropolis. Area , it is the fourth largest church in Europe , after St. Peter's in the Vatican , St. Paul's in London and Seville Cathedral .  It is the most important church of the Archdiocese of Milan , and is the seat of the parish of Santa Tecla in the Cathedral of Milan.
